Klaproos is a temporary restaurant housed in a former industrial warehouse in Amsterdam Noord. The elongated warehouse structure at Papaverhoek forms the basis for this conversion. New openings in the existing facade allow natural light to enter the interior. The linear space is organized as a sequence of dining areas at different levels, creating spatial hierarchy within the open plan. Original structural elements remain exposed and are complemented by new interventions. The interior maintains a dialogue between the building's industrial past and its new function, with material transitions defining the various zones.
